Senior DevSecOps

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team, a leading IT consultancy Company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in integrating security practices into our DevOps processes, ensuring that security is a core component of our development and operations activities. This position requires a deep understanding of DevOps, security, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Security Integration: Develop and implement security practices within the DevOps pipeline to ensure the security of applications and infrastructure.
• Automation: Automate security controls, data, and processes to provide better metrics and operational support.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor and assess security risks and vulnerabilities; generate detailed reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to design and implement security solutions.
• Incident Response: Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents and breaches, ensuring quick resolution and documentation of lessons learned.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Training: Educate and train team members on secure coding practices and security best practices.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on security.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security features.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
• Experience with security tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or Nessus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
