Senior DevOps Engineer Expertise in Docker and orchestration tools

Our client a major information technology and software consulting need Senior DevOps Engineer with details bellow.

Job Competencies:

• Containerisation & Orchestration: Expertise in Docker and orchestration tools, including Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with tools like Ansible and Terraform for building and managing infrastructure.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Scripting & Administration: Strong skills in Bash scripting, with experience in Linux administration.
• Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux and Windows.
• Network Management: Understanding of network management, including Wireless, Subnet IP, Bandwidth management, Firewall, VPN, VPC, and other key network areas.
• Cloud Services: Familiarity with major cloud providers (Alibaba Cloud, GCP, AWS) and their components, such as API Gateway, message queues (Kafka, RocketMQ, RabbitMQ), Object Storage, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• DevOps Planning: Design and implement DevOps plans, from defining server specifications to full installation and implementation, including comprehensive documentation.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling faster delivery and deployment for developers.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, etc., ensuring infrastructure is up-to-date with the latest technology trends in DevOps.
• Software Development Lifecycle Support: Manage the software development lifecycle, facilitate collaboration between IT development and operations teams, and streamline deployment processes.
• Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) Support: Support the implementation of NFRs for server, service, and network operations.
• Troubleshooting & Collaboration: Provide troubleshooting assistance for issues, coordinate with the development team for reviews, and ensure smooth application functionality.
• Operational Testing: Conduct tests on failover, replication, and other IT operation activities to ensure high availability and performance.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Design monitoring plans, work closely with the Dev Team and leadership on identifying metrics, setting thresholds, and configuring alerts.
