Software Quality Assurance (Automation – Katalon)

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to be placed at our client’s office in the Banking industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Katalon Studio, while also performing manual testing when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and mobile applications.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

• Document and report defects clearly, and track them until resolution.

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.

• Ensure compliance with banking industry standards, security, and regulatory requirements.

• Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software QA/Tester, with at least 1–2 years in test automation.

• Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio for web and/or mobile automation testing.

• Proficiency in test design, defect management, and QA methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Familiar with API testing (Postman, Katalon API, or similar tools).

• Good knowledge of databases (SQL) for test data validation.

• Familiarity with CI/CD integration for test automation pipelines is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
