Senior Backend Developer (Python)

The candidate will be placed at our client’s office (a telecommunications industry company) to support their software development project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Python.

• Build and optimize APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) for seamless integration with frontend and external systems.

• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of backend applications.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures (SQL/NoSQL).

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in backend systems.

• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Stay updated on the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry practices related to Python backend development.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.

• Strong proficiency in Python and popular frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, or FastAPI).

• Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL APIs.

• Solid understanding of databases (both SQL such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL such as MongoDB/Redis).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Knowledge of software architecture design patterns and microservices.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
