Backend Engineer

Backend Developer (Node.js/Golang)

Location: South Jakarta (On-site)

Contract: 6 Months

Requirement: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

Note: This position will be assigned to our client, a leading IT SaaS Company.

The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to build and maintain high-performance microservices. You will be responsible for end-to-end ticket development, production system stability, and technical mentorship within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Implement: Deliver high-quality features and microservice modules using Node.js or Golang.

• Maintain & Support: Ensure production system uptime; troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues.

• Quality First: Write reusable, sustainable code using TDD and defensive programming.

• Monitoring: Set up logging, monitoring, and alerts for key system metrics.

• Collaboration: Guide team members through pair programming and maintain strict documentation/SOPs.

• Shift Work: Ready to work on a shifting schedule (including weekends).

  
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in Backend Development (Node.js or Golang).

• Technical Skills: Strong CS fundamentals (Algorithms, Data Structures, OOP) and modern JS frameworks.

• Infrastructure: Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Agile Mindset: Experienced in TDD, CI/CD, and robust system architecture.

• Communication: Ability to bridge technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive in solving roadblocks, and self-motivated.
