API Gateway Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

●     Design and implement API gateway solutions using GCP Apigee.

●     Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

●     Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs with backend services.

●     Monitor and troubleshoot API gateway issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

●     Implement security best practices for API management, including authentication and authorization.

●     Optimize API performance through effective caching, throttling, and load balancing.

●     Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API management and GCP Apigee.

Requirements:

●     Proven experience as an API Gateway Specialist, specifically with GCP Apigee.

●     Strong understanding of API design and best practices.

●     Proficiency in RESTful and SOAP APIs.

●     Experience with API security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.

●     Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

●     Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.

●     Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

●     Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

●     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
