ROLE DEFINITION

test, develop, support, deploy basic technology solutions of limited scale.
work with supervision and guidance and apply basic engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables.
apply Life Insurance Concepts in understanding Business Requirements.
understand the software requirements and ensure it is translated into good quality production - ready code basis provided design & instructions.
understand the defined scope and timelines and deliver quality deliverable within the estimated time.
attend and actively participate in the team ceremonies

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Basic engineering, system administration, quality engineering (QE) and support
Basic Life Insurance Concepts applied in test execution.
Ability to design low complexity automation scripts with zero error (e.g. using existing automation tools, frameworks), written to be reused/executed and having low maintenance requirements over time.
Understands basics of QE practices, and any Sunlife approved automation tool.
Experience in TOSCA, JIRA, Agile. Mobile Testing
Basic understanding ReadyAPI, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins
